What is Membership?
Being a member of the temple is an expression of your commitment to Senshin Buddhist Temple. It is an expression of annual financial support to religious programs and operations of Senshin. Senshin is a member of the Buddhist Churches of America (BCA), the central organization which provides services, such as religious resources and programs for Ministers, to its affiliated Temples. A portion of your membership dues includes membership to BCA
Why is it important to become a Member?
The Temple maintains its operations and activities through fundraisers, contributions, and membership. Your membership helps to support a full-time minister, temple services, special activities, and operation and maintenance of the facilities.
What is the cost of Senshin membership?
The following are the membership categories and amounts (includes BCA membership dues). Seniors over 80 years of age are exempt from paying Senshin membership dues. However, seniors wishing to receive the BCA Wheel of Dharma newsletter must pay the BCA membership dues.
